Mandated Withdrawal: The list of students to be mandatorily withdrawn is generated two months after the start of each semester.
Voluntary Withdrawal: According to the school calendar, voluntary withdrawal can be processed from the beginning to the end of each semester.
Notes:
When processing withdrawal from the university, please bring the withdrawal application form and student ID. The withdrawal procedures can be handled by a proxy, but the proxy must carry identification documents.
Students who have completed at least one semester, have grades, and whose academic status has been verified and approved, may apply for a Certificate of Study upon completing the withdrawal procedures.
Students whose admission qualifications are not met or who are expelled will not be issued any certificates related to their studies.
If a student believes that the announcement of their withdrawal or expulsion is illegal or improper, causing harm to their rights, they may submit evidence and file an appeal according to NTU Student Appeal Regulaions. The student may continue their studies at the university until the appeal result is finalized. However, if the original decision is upheld, the grades earned from the date of appeal submission to the final decision will not be recognized. If the appeal is granted and the student is allowed to return, they may apply for a leave of absence for the period they were out, which will not count towards the maximum leave of absence duration.
The refund standards for withdrawal fees are processed according to the NTU "Tuition & Fees Refund Standards for Leave of Absence or Withdrawal."
