According to Article 79 of NTU Academic Regulations, graduate students with justifiable cause who have completed more than one year of study may apply for a one-time-only transfer to a different program (or group) after receiving approval from the heads of both academic programs concerned or from the Vice President for Academic Affairs on a case-by-case basis.

Since the 2005-2006 academic year, NTU has NOT increased tuition and fees for over twenty years, despite the rising costs of utilities, postage, and the purchase or maintenance of books and equipment. There has also been a reduction in government grants to the university. While the Ministry of Education Republic of China (Taiwan) allows for adjustments in tuition and fees, NTU has chosen NOT to do so in light of the prevailing economic conditions. The increased costs are being managed through fundraising and the implementation of various cost saving measures to ensure the maintenance of essential administrative operations and a satisfactory level of teaching quality. At the present time, there is no scope for a reduction in the tuition and fees. Apart from the Graduate Institute of Interdisciplinary Legal Studies, tuition and fees are generally charged for the first two years of the master's and doctoral programs for regular students. From the third year of study onwards, only the basic tuition and miscellaneous fees are charged until graduation. Education credits fees are calculated separately. Additional fees are charged for "language internship fees" for listening and speaking internships and for "biotechnology program fees" for the biotechnology program.

According to Article 3, Section 3 of Regulations Governing Students’ Credit Transfer,for master’s and doctoral degree students the total number of transferable credits, may not exceed 50% of the number of graduation credits required by each academic department （or graduate institute/degree program）, unless with the signed approval of the Vice President for Academic Affairs or otherwise stipulated.

Yes, it will take longer to appear the grades for NTU System courses on the transcript because the grades will be reported by the partner university of NTU system and input in the database after confirmation.

Semester grades shall be submitted within 10 days of the day following the last day of final examinations, as announced in the academic calendar.

Only The official photocopy of your diploma or English diploma can be provided because there is only one original copy of your diploma or English diploma issued by the University. As for the rest of other documents, only the original copies of the documents can be provided. If any institution requires the photocopies of the document with an offical seal of theOffice, please send the origianl copy of the document to the institution.

Only instructors and appointed persons of departments can have the access to the system of grade distribution.

The percentage of students in each semester on Eportfolio system is estimated to be available in the forth week after the following semester starts.

Grades shall not be revised once submitted. However, in the event that the course instructor makes an error, a correction may be made. The course instructor may fill out a 'grade correction application form' and submit it to the supervisor of the course-offering academic unit and the Office of Academic Affairs for approval.
