Who Can Apply
International Degree Student
An individual of foreign nationality who has never held the status of an overseas Chinese student on the date of application, and who complies with the "Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan" of the Ministry of Education (MOE website: http://english.moe.gov.tw/). International students with a high school diploma are eligible to apply for undergraduate program, a Bachelor’s degree for Master programs, and a Master’s degree for PhD programs.
Overseas Chinese/Hong Kong/Macao Student
An individual who complies with the "Regulations Regarding Study and Counseling Assistance for Overseas Chinese Students in Taiwan" or the "Measures for Hong Kong and Macao Residents Studying in Taiwan(香港澳門居民來臺就學辦法)." Overseas Chinese/Hong Kong/Macao students with a high school diploma are eligible to apply for undergraduate program, a Bachelor’s degree for Master programs, and a Master’s degree for PhD programs.

Program Duration
Bachelor's programs: 4 to 6 years
Master's programs: 1 to 4 years
PhD programs: 2 to 7 years

Scholarships
Students shall approach the scholarship units by themselves for application. Degree application and scholarship application are separate; being offered a scholarship does not guarantee admission to NTU, and vice versa.
